Fulltiming Life

We're learning new things everyday and I thought I'd start making a list of some of the pros and cons that may be helpful for anyone contemplating the Fulltime RVing Lifestyle.

1) Remember that your RV is your home but it's also a vehicle.  You have to take care of it and there's always something to tweek or fix.

2) If you don't like the view, your neighbors or the weather you can always pack up and move.

3) You can make this lifestyle extravagant and stay in every luxurious RV Resort, you can combine reasonable with the luxurious or you can do it reasonable (inexpensive) all the time.  Up to you!

4) Always keep paper plates, cups, napkins and paper towels.  They're easy and if you are boon docking/dry camping they come in handy.  Of course, when you like you can always use your good dishes.

5) You don't have to spend a fortune on RV toilet paper at the Camping Stores.  Using any single ply paper works fine.  Ex. Scott, Charmin Basic

6) Always turn on the fan in the bathroom when you take showers.  This will keep moisture from affecting the inside of your RV, mold or mildew problems.

7) If you are planning to spend time in California book at least 3-6 months in advance, be prepared for it to be expensive, state parks are you most reasonable option and remember that overnights at Walmarts, etc. are not allowed in California.  Not a very tourist friendly state.
